Weekend Wrapup

Celtic remembered how to score, but provided an own goal, lest we forget.

The Bears (Ellie) won handily, and I'm coaching to the "Coach Bob Mercy Rule." It appears that we won't be playing a Rivera-coached, Scarpetti-powered Mustangs team this year though...

The Strikers (Joey) won, with Joey spending a lonely quarter in the goal with no touches. He had a chance to plug away in the scrum in the other team's box to get a shot off, though with no luck. The photo is of Fin, Ellie and me bundled up watching his game.

The Buckeyes (Bobby) lost a heartbreaker, with one of my ex-players volleying an amazing shot at the end of time for the winner.

The Crew pulled off a wild 4-3 home victory with a cookie-goal over the Goats in front of a record-low crowd, as many of us cowered at home where it was warm and dry.

Bobby and Joey went on a birthday bender with Adam at Dave and Buster's with a sleepover afterwards. This was the scene at our house from 2-7PM on Sunday
